We’re following the news about Sandy Hook, and feel still in shock about it all. My thoughts keep going between the children, their parents, the teachers, and the young man himself. I hear new information and then get caught up in my own mental images about what might have gone wrong or what could have been done. My mind is working overtime to resolve something that I realize I cannot fathom.
Then I take a walk or do some Brain Gym activities and suddenly feel grounded again, aware that the worry was not helping anything . . . not supporting me or giving me any energy to take positive action.
